ZIM has recently formed a new shipping joint venture with Vietnamese branch line operator HATS to target the transport of Vietnamese exports.
HATS has more than 10 years of shipping experience in vietnam.It is one of the largest liner companies in Vietnam.Besides the main shipping business,HATS is also engaged in wharf operations,container yard operation,warehousing and shipping releated agent business.
The new shipping compay,named Lotus Link,is based in Hai Phong and plans to start shipping services at Vienamese ports in March.
Vessels from the joint venture will begin service from next month from Ho chi Minh,Da Nang and Hai Phong ports.Land logistics service such as trucking and customs clearance will also be provided.
